Spring Belt

Every time, I have watched a sunrise or a sunset, minute-by-minute, my first thought is that in this world’s vastness the best and the most beautiful things are free. On the sand dunes, I have heard the wild wind blowing whistles in different musical notes and at the wind’s feet the sand is openly thriving – making patterns of drifting waves. Like a child, I find gazing at the stars that come up like a crop of jewels at night, a scene of recurring awe. In every coming season, I capture an infinite experience of anticipation. The timelessness of a snowfall, the pitter-patter of raindrops, the coming of flowers in their most supreme activity offer me a sense of even-mindedness. I realize the fact that my true nature should be joyous, content, peaceful. The connection between the way I ‘look’ at the scene, and the way I ‘think’ about it will convey the true meaning of my direct description: which is the ‘feeling’. From the natural order of look-think-feel, readily and cheerfully, some of my poems are born.
