Lines on Malala Yousafzai & Kailash Satyarthi

Malala Yousafzai & Kailash Satyarthi are from Pakistan and India, respectively. Both are activists, who have shared the Nobel Peace Prize, announced on 10th Oct 2014. Malala is a Muslim girl, 17 years old. Kailash is a 60-year-old Hindu man. Both the activists have drawn attention to children's rights. Both believe that child exploitation in any form is a crime against humanity.

The Nobel Committee Chairman, Thorbjoern Jagland said it was important to reward both an Indian Hindu and a Pakistani Muslim for their common struggle for education and against extremism.

Malala miraculously escaped death when she was shot in the head by the Taliban. Her crime? She was fighting for girls' right to education. Kailash has faced a mountain of challenges, including murderous attacks - saving children from bonded labour. Both have a lot to respect for each other. Both have similar goals – saving children of our planet.
