Dr. Shihab Ghanem is a well-known poet and translator of poetry. He has forty-seven published books to his credit, of which thirty-four are in Arabic and thirteen in English.

Dr. Ghanem has a double degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering from Aberdeen, a master’s degree in Water Resourcess Development from Roorkee and a doctorate in Economic from Cardiff. He is a UAE citizen residing in Dubai.
