Very nice poem dear Geeta Chhabra since “Faith is not the belief that God will do what you want. It is the belief that God will do what is right.” – Max Lucado.

In any situation, we must never lose sight of hope. Hope heralds inner light, and inner light gives us directions to move on towards our goals. Mama, the image of your post suits your verse so well!

When the realization that the light that lights the world is the light that glows inside one’s own self comes, you become Him and He becomes you!

Discriminatory attitude towards girls and boys, women and men goes back to centuries. But, now it is gradually changing in India. Sensible parents are showing their children how important it is to erase the discrimination. Social order is changing for the better, many kudos for those sons who are supporting the principal.

Geeta Chhabra,

I endorse your views. You are right when you say that making discrimination on the basis of sex is something which is not liked by the society now.  We must oppose such moves that do not hold both the sexes equal in every respect.

If only women would learn to respect themselves, they have to fight for rights because they themselves believe they are less than males.  Do men fight for their freedom?  We give birth to men.  If only women respect themselves and each other.  This craze for male heir is mostly by grandmothers and mothers. We are responsible for the state we are in because we don't have respect for our own selves. If only mothers teach their sons and daughters the right values.  My son has been given no choice whether to respect women or not.  It is mandatory for him to respect every being.  He dare not disrespect daughter.  Dare not anyone disrespect her, anyone means anyone. If I can teach my son I am sure so can other women. Until then we will be living in make believe cage which we women have built around us and keep on blaming each other that women don't have freedom and fight for equality. It is sad that men take birth from women and we allow them to dominate us – strange but sad truth. I have never faced inequality because I respect and believe in myself. If only women learn to respect and believe in themselves, the thought that I have to prove myself and fight for equality ever is disrespecting myself. So I was blessed and had never done that for the simple reason.  I never ever thought I was less in any way than boys my age. We are Human beings first genders later.

Beautiful lines Geeta ji. When you relinquish earthly desires, the gravitational pull of the earth no longer works on the soul and it rises higher and higher to MERGE with the ONE. Keep blessing all...

Truth is God.... the Smile is a Reflection... that you.... have inched..... closer..... to.... realize.... assess and react to the situation with Equanimity.... hence.... the....
