Spring’s Renewal In Dubai
Nature’s sweet offerings,
All the way from rainbows’ ends,
Is God’s fleeting sport:
Spring!
Ah! Spring is there for all to see.
Ah! Spring is there for me to see.
Oh, go on then,
Oh! Spring, become the perception
Of my inner eye,
Retrieve me out of the deep;
Hold my mind’s finger,
Show me the vast flush of blossomings.
Isn’t the sun’s eclectic light,
Dancing upon gloss-laden hues,
Wooing you?
Ah! Come then, abide within me,
And pour colours of every wild,
Tame flower.
You are indeed, the spirit of any poet’s:
Desired purpose.
Wordless, dreamlike in fragrant breeze.
