The Arabian Sunset
An Ode To Fujairah
Crimson hues draping the desert’s sky,
Splashed brilliant colours, making collages
Of moments that went by…
Time flew as if it were on fleeting wings,
Leaving a blaze of images
With ever-lasting links.
Such depths were clear in the setting sun.
Oh! See how I can still remember
The golden ball dispersed about the hillside…
The hillside, the sun, those Fujairah’s rocks!
What a colourful flag of strength they fly!
Each time, I find them and think of joy.
In my travels from Dubai to Fujairah to Dubai.
