The ocean is kind and generous —
gentler than what it was —
Yesterday!

Outside my window,
Earlier, the scaffolding bamboo bars
had reminded me
of spears and tomahawks.

To-day!
Outside my window,
Every speck appears
as the greatest work of Nature’s art.
