Why can’t I be –
What I want to be?
Why can’t I become –
What I desire to become!

 

Who am I?
The mad person – with justifiable rage?
The wanderer –
Abandoning ill-will,
In order to ponder?

 

A mad person.
The wanderer.
I am poor in understanding –
What have I become?

 

The miserable land of humans,
With ragged gossip, cold deceit –
Belittles my privacy.
Between the strong and weak…

 

Why can’t I be –
What I want to be?
Why can’t I become –
