The Scene
Ripples in sea’s surface.
Blue skies surrendering...
To gray clouds.
Salty winds in the balcony.
Parrots screeching at each other.
Crows cawing, aimlessly.
Cloistered in my apartment;
There is no shortage of...
Leisure or work;
In some fashion,
Life is going on.
Why should I ruin,
The small pleasure of
These moments?
As for the pandemic,
No one can tell how...
The pandemic began.
Some blame China.
I saw a very angry person,
On TV, he gestured...
With his hands a perfect mincing of meat!
No one can see,
What the ephemeral future holds.
Well, who know the virus might just go away,
Or a vaccine is found!
Why should I lose the present landscape?
Ripples in sea’s surface.
Blue skies surrendering...
To gray clouds.
Salty winds in the balcony.
Parrots screeching at each other.
Crows cawing, aimlessly….
