To symbolize the essence of international connectivity – the name: Thames & Hudson was bestowed upon the famous publishing house by its founders, Walter and Eva Neurath. The two rivers from London and New York i.e. Thames & Hudson linked the company to express the main passion of the founders. Thames & Hudson was established in 1949 and prides itself on the very high standard it maintains to produce books on design, photography, travel, culture, history and architecture.
