The saint seeks You in meditation.
The monarch seeks You in domains.
The thinker seeks You in thought.
The soldier seeks You in fortitude.
The orphan seeks You in gratitude.

 

And I – seek You how?

 

I seek You in the hues of every creature.
I seek You in my heart’s throb.
I seek You in my chalice of wine.
I seek You in my apparitions.
I seek You in my soul.
I seek You everywhere!
