Prayer and faith go hand in hand. If we rush hither and thither with doubt, our request wastes away. The emolument comes to us through our own confidence, when we pray with unquestionable belief. If we pray with faith, prayers work. Mahatma Gandhi said, “Prayer is not an old woman’s idle amusement. Properly understood and applied, it is the most potent instrument of action.” Some of the most thoroughgoing doctors, scientists, leaders have supported the same philosophy.
