Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority and the General Women Association in Sharjah are working on a pilot scheme to cut use of water and energy. The participators are teaching housewives how to reduce domestic use of water and electricity. There are tips saying the following:
Turn off unnecessary lights.
Fix dripping taps.
Do full laundry loads in the washing machine, instead of smaller loads.
Unplug unused electronic gadgets.
Turn off water while shaving or brushing.
Yes let’s save our Planet Earth.
